One Less Turd in the Punchbowl...

So, the Illinois State Assembly voted overwhelmingly today to remove Blogojevich from office and went one step further, denying him the right to ever hold office in the state again. I imagine the vote went something like this:

State Senate President, John Cullerton: "Okay... Let's make this simple. Does anyone here actually think Governor Blagojevich should actually remain in office? Wow. One for? Wait a minute... Put your hand down, Rod. you don't get a vote."

I'm glad the ordeal is over and that Illinois can get back to slimy politics as usual.

Sara Palin Update

In a recent interview with Esquire, Ms. Palin said that "Bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers who lie annoy me." I think she's talking about me...

Ms. Palin, I am neither bored nor anonymous, and I don't lie. So, there.

This year's first snow construction

Well, it wasn't good packing snow, so we went for concept over scale. I present to you "Snowman and his Snow Butte." I know, geologically, it's more of a stack, but Ellie liked saying "snow butte" more.
